A change in wire feed or spray behaviour needs a recorded symptom, the exact gun configuration and the correct manual. This guide helps you gather that information for Buspray technical support. It does not give trial pressure settings or authorize disassembly.
When to stop and contact support
If there is a suspected gas leak, damaged connection, unusual noise or unstable operation, stop using the equipment and follow the official shutdown and site isolation procedure. Do not continue spraying to obtain a photo or video. Inspection and service must follow the 12M manual and be carried out by trained personnel.
Start with the observed symptom
The items below are areas for review, not confirmed diagnoses. Record only what you can establish safely; leave uncertain fields blank for the technical team.
Wire does not feed, or feed becomes intermittent
- Record the full 12M model, wire material, wire diameter and whether the issue began after a wire or component change.
- With the equipment safely isolated, compare the recorded guide and drive-part numbers with the model parts list. Do not force the wire or substitute another model’s parts.
- Send support a description of the symptom and any already available photos of the wire path or worn component. Feed parts, guides and configuration are areas for review; the symptom alone does not establish which part needs replacement.
Spray appearance changes or the coating result becomes inconsistent
- Record when the change occurred and whether the wire, workpiece preparation, approved job settings or front-end parts changed.
- Identify the fitted front-end part numbers from existing records or a safe inspection. Confirm the fuel-gas variant against the gun model.
- Provide the last accepted job record and a photo of the sample result. Avoid changing several settings at once to chase the symptom; ask support to identify the appropriate checks from the manual.
Unusual noise or a damaged component
- Record when the noise or damage was first noticed and whether recent service work preceded it.
- Keep the equipment out of operation until the condition has been assessed. Do not restart merely to reproduce the sound.
- Provide the part number and clear photographs after safe shutdown, cooling and isolation. Support can then distinguish a spare-part enquiry from a service issue.
A replacement part does not appear to match
- Compare the ordered SKU, the received item and the model parts reference.
- For a nozzle nut, the current ordering reference is 12M-6, supplied as one piece per ordered unit.
- Send the order reference and photographs to support before modifying or fitting an uncertain part.
Copy this information into your support enquiry
- Gun model: 12M-H-P, 12M-S-P, 12M-H-A or 12M-S-A, as marked or confirmed.
- Wire material and diameter; fuel-gas configuration.
- Symptom, first occurrence, and last known satisfactory operation.
- Recent wire, part or service changes.
- Relevant SKU/part number, manual reference and safely obtained photographs.
- Order reference, if the enquiry concerns a supplied product.
Email support@buspray.com or use the website’s technical-support contact. Keep your observations separate from a suspected cause so the technical team can assess the evidence.
